An enlightened person acts like water
Water benefits everything
But never disputes with anything
Dare to go into where everyone hates
Thus the path to enlightenment is like following water
Lao-tzu
上善若水
臨黄ネットの今月の禅語から。
『老子』の第八からの言葉だそうです。
上善は水の若し
水は善く万物を利して
而も争わず
衆人の悪む所に処る
故に道に幾し
He wai rere te mātauranga

Ka āwhina pai te wai i ngā mea katoa
Kāore te wai e whakanehenehe ki ngā mea katoa
